White River Helicopters is owned by Sid Peltier and has been operating in the Terrace area since 1993. We are the oldest privately and locally owned helicopter charter service in Terrace, BC.

Our clients include provincial and federal ministries, private industry, forestry industry, oil/gas & mining exploration and adventure seeking individuals.

Your chief pilot, Sid, has logged more than 36 years and 14,000+ hours in helicopter aviation, most of that time flying in the mountains of BC and Alberta. He has a lot of experience in seismic, oil and gas exploration, power line construction, as well as fire fighting throughout the western provinces, including Northwest Territories and the Yukon. He is a qualified rotary flight instructor and over the years has held the positions of Chief Pilot and Operations Manager. He has flown numerous types of helicopters, including Jet Rangers, A-Stars, and Bell Mediums.

We have three types of helicopters available:

• The Bell Jet Ranger is a 4 passenger craft that cruises at 115 mph and has a range of about 2.5 hours.
• A Bell LongRanger 3 that will carry 6 passengers and cruises at 130 mph and has a range of approximately 2.5 hours.
• A Eurocopter AS350 BA AStar that can carry up to 5 passengers and cruises at 135 mph with an approximate range of 2.5 hours.
